Sunrise Farms Expands Non-GMO Feed Retail Store
Sunrise Farms is excited to announce the expansion of our feed store in Stuarts Draft, Virginia. This larger retail space provides farmers, homesteaders, and animal owners an even greater selection of fresh non-GMO feed for chickens, goats, swine, cattle, and sheep.
What began more than 20 years ago as a small family vision has steadily grown into a trusted source for healthy, farm-fresh feed throughout Virginia and the East Coast.
Our story began in 2003 when Maynard and Shirley Miller purchased a 90-acre farm with the vision of creating a sustainable livelihood for their family while staying connected to their agricultural roots. Inspired by the sunrise visible across the eastern hills of the property, they named the farm Sunrise Farms and began producing non-GMO feed rooted in transparency and stewardship.
“Sunrise Farms was built on the values of a strong work ethic, a love for being close to nature, and a desire to serve our community,” says Maynard Miller, Owner and Farm Manager.

That philosophy continues inside the retail store, where customers can speak directly with knowledgeable staff and find feed tailored to their animals’ needs.
